BandFuse: Rock Legends. A new guitar game... Oh boy...

This is shocking news! A new real-guitar-based game! What is the name? BandFuse: Rock Legends... And let me tell you how they came up with the name:

''Let's put the other names of music games in a hat and the thing that comes up is the new name''
And that's how they did it.

Well, Realta Entertainment Group (?) will bring this game for the Xbox 360 in which, thanks to an adaptor in the same fashion as Rocksmith, you'll be able to shred with any guitar the tunes included in the game, going from Maroon 5 to Coldplay, from Slash to Five Finger Death Punch, Tom Petty to Lynyrd Skynyrd and more to be announced.

The game promises to be better than Power Gig (HAHAHAHAHA... sorry, can't help myself) (but seriously, Rock Revolution is better than that) and better than Rocksmith in terms of lag, Rocksmith was pretty bad when it came out, but I understand that the patch fixed most problems.

It'll use actual guitar tablatures instead of highways like Rocksmith or Rock Band 3 in this attempt to be more and more realistic. Also the interactive training videos will be lead by former Guns'n Roses star Slash. That's kinda nice, I guess.

Also the company annouced several partnerships: besides Slash, obviously, it has linked with Fender and also the film company Relativity Media to probably make some TV show or movie about the game or maybe some product placement. About this the CEO of Realta, Steve Gomes says:

"There'll be a lot of fun stuff related to that that's going to be coming up in about 30-60 days, that will tie into those actual things happening and being released."

Ok, then that's the most important stuff from this new game. What do you think? Will it be the nest big hit? Or will it suck hard? Let me know in the comments.
